We are doing a Irish festival and we have been donated hotdogs, is there anything we can do to make the meal more irish? If you can find a site with ideas, that would be great!!!

I found a recipe for Hot dog stew and it says that it's Irish. I hope this helps. :)

CHRISSIE'S IRISH SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
olive oil
1 pkg. hot dogs cut into slices
1 can condensed tomato soup
(16-oz.) can tomato paste
2 No. 2 can whole tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water

You will need a large pot to cook the sauce in. Brown onion and garlic in olive oil and then add: hot dog slices and brown. Add condensed tomato soup, tomato paste,whole tomatoes, water. Mix together and then add remaining ingredients. Bring everything to a boil, reduce to simmer and happy stirring for the next 8 hours.

YES! You get a bunch of wiener dogs and grind them up in a grinder and pour hot sauce ALL OVER.

not sure if its Irish

slice em into 1/2 slices and fry them in olive oil

serve with suerkraut, beans, relish
