It's caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure. Some people experience that when they go from lying down to sitting or sitting to standing suddenly
It actually has a name: orthostatic hypotension. Maybe you should ask a doctor about it.

I used to have the same problem you are having several years ago. Its called heart palpitations. I used to wake up in the middle of the night, my heart pounding like I just completed running a race, and sweating.
The doctors found I have high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. I was put on blood pressure medicine and another medicine that keeps my heart under control to where it beats slower. A resting heart rate for an adult should be between 60 and 80 beats per minute. If at rest and your heart beats over 80 beats per minute, then you need to see a doctor to get a complete work up on your blood pressure and blood work done.
Hope this helps :-)

IF by 'my blood going fast' you mean that you can hear a sort of pounding sound in your ears when you wake...it could be high blood pressure. The dizziness could be part of it...so could a feeling of heat around your head, neck and upper body.
Don't take chances, see a doctor and find out.

Could be an anxiety attack, I usually got them while sleeping and I would wake up with heart palpitations and dizzy, don't drink any caffeine products 3 hours before you go to bed.
