Seems like everyone gave you good answers...
Board games
Girl talk--boys, fashion, celebrity
Girly Movies (Sixteen Candles, Breakfast at Tiffany's...you could do old [fashion] movies)
Ten Fingers game...(everyone holds up their ten fingers, and you go around in a circle saying "Never have I ever....(whatever)", and whoever has done that puts down one finger. Just a piece of advice have a theme with it...like sex, drugs, and alcohol or none of those, it can get pretty dull if there's nothing juicy)
Pig out on food items you wouldn't have on a date or in front of a guy
Play old 80s music, or boy band music and dance and sing
Just have fun!

My daughter has a 10 year old daughter. She has been having slumber parties for her on her birthday for at least 5 years. First, she limits the number of party goers that she can have over all night. For her tenth she had 3. For her 5th, she had 6. It was easier then. They may take in a movie or better still, go as a group to rent a movie supervised by MOM.. They go as a group to pick out the food they want to eat that night with MOM having the final say. They choose the activity from a list of those approved by MOM. The family can be included in watching the movie or, if you have the room, the girls can watch their movie alone, with MOM popping in from time to time. Depending on what time you start the party will determine the other activities. My daughter will normally start the party anywhere from noon to 2:00pm. Showers and indoor activities begin at a set time. This year the (4) girls fell asleep around 2:00am on a mattress on the floor in the living room. Find out what your daughter would like to do at her party. Have her make a list of activities. Approve as many as you will and then have her choose a set number from those activites approved. Like you may only want 2 activities. She is the one that narrows it down to 2. Of course, you can always talk her into doing the activites you really want to supervise. Good luck. Have fun. Mimi
