I was introduced to this delicious delicacy in Ottawa, but now I'm back in the states, and can't find it!! Anybody know where a good shawarma shop is? Prefereably in the NY/NJ or GA areas?

There are a bunch of them in a neighborhood in Queens known as Kew Gardens Hills. There's Grill Point, Pita Hot and The Flame Grill. They are all on or near Main St. and Union Turnpike in Flushing, NY 11367 if you want to mapquest it.

Sharwarma in windsor canada. just across the border. Had my first shawarma 2 weeks ago. It was delicious especially with that white sauce.

In California you can get it in any middle Eastern, Armenian or greek area of town.

if you like cart food every where in midtown manhattan ask them they will recomend you the best but i know of two places i have been in the city its called Le Souk in downtown great food and the other is Byblos in midtown.
