my throat is swollen adn has little bump like things on it. the back of my toungue has disk like spots. went to the doc, he said nothing wrong. looks worse, hurts from being swollen.

Sounds like you may have strep throat, I'm surprised he did not take a throat culture. I would call and make another appt and inform them that it has gotten worse and you cannot stand the pain.

If you stick your tongue way out and look in the mirror, you can see a few lumps on the back of your tongue. Those are actually taste buds for tasting "bitter".
Unless you are having trouble breathing or eating, I wouldn't worry too much about it after having actually visited the doctor. Lymph nodes get sore and enlarged at times in the throat, but it is part of your body's natural immune system at work.

everyone has disk like bumps on the back of their tongue. if you reach into your mouth and feel your tongue, they actually even raise a little off the surface of your tongue. Everyone has these.
It sounds to me like you are more worried about something else occuring in your life that has made you paranoid about your health.
If I am indeed correct, the best answer is always to get tested.

hey i just got ur answer about humans evolving from apes but if the adam and eve theory is true and incest is against the will of the bible then in order to create more humans someone odviously had to bone their sister!

It may be simple tonsillitis, do u have fever alogwith it?
your dr may have prescribed antibiotics for you jjst continuethe course , gargles with luke warm water will also help you.
