Green tea, black tea, or Jasmine tea, try going to an asian grocers' shop, it'll be FAR cheaper than the healthfood shop.

Its mostly the Jasmine Tea which they serve in chinese restaurants ,

But Chinese do have many version of teas , usually they have them as Normal accompainment to food which are light fragrant ones, or they also have herbal health teas with Ginseng , Chinese herbs etc.

No- definitely not fair trade or organic? Where on earth do yo get these ideas?
Have you ever seen how they farm in China? Ever been there? Do you know it's a Communist government in charge which controls the pricing? Fair trade- how much do you think the poor peasant farmer earns?
I lived in China sweet-heart. It is anything but fair trade or organic. They say stuff is organic just to trick stupid Westerners.
The Chinese still use DDT there for Christ's sake- as well as most developing nations. And don't get me started on their defoliants.
Don't drink Chinese tea- it's rubbish. They don't even drink that restaurant tea over there- they drink a freshly plucked leaf-tea.

If you're going to drink green tea, drink Okinawan, Japanese or Javanese. They use less pesticide and herbicide.
And please be a little less naive.

most chinese restaurants use black tea or green tea. these teas are readily available worldwide, although you may not always find fair trade and organic versions. if you are having trouble at your local market, try a tea shop!

green tea. you can get it in any grocery store these days, even if it's in tea bags. If you're specifically after the loose leaf tea, try the chinese stores or special tea places. Or just ask the restaurant for their supplier... they might sell it themselves.
