If you've been having this problem consistently for years, it obviously is not the "flu". It's likely an allergy of some sort. And your options are basically to visit a doctor and possibly have testing done to find out what the aggravating allergen is so that you might be able to avoid it. Also, there are general drugs for allergies that your doctor can prescribe. Sometimes the particular area one lives in will have something in the air that you'll be allergic to (Cedar, for instance), that you can get away from by moving elsewhere.

I guess I do not understand why you are calling this the "flu". You do know what the "flu" is, don't you?

First off darlin the flu is viral there is NO cure as much as we'd like to think that there is, frankly there just isnt. Viral infections must do one thing and that one thing is "run its 5-10 day course". Yes viral as well as bacterial infections are sticking around in our bodies longer and just seem to linger there just long enough to piss you off but nothing can be done with viral other then stick it out. If your waking up with a runny nose and blocked nose every morning it is NOT the flu ever think you have allergies or the air in your home is to dry?

Go to a doctor. Maybe your allergic to sometihing on your bed or somewhere in your house. you may be allergic to a certain animal or their fur (if you have any of course). But it doesnt sound like the flu if you have the same symptoms for years !.

happy new yr

That's more like allergic rhinitis, not 'flu. Go and see a doctor; you may be allergic to house dust mites or something else.
