I like to crush the crackers and mix them with a beaten egg and either a can of tuna or canned salmon. Add some seasoning (such as lemon pepper, garlic, onion, etc.), form into a patty and cook in a skillet on medium-high until nice and brown. My husband really loves these with mashed potatoes or in a sandwich. Beats plain old meatloaf, and everybody has a can of tuna in the cupboard!

Depends on the kind of cracker, but meatloaf is always a favorite. A few pounds of ground beef, one egg, one sleeve of saltines or ritz, some finely diced garlic, onion and yellow pepper, and any other spices you'd like. Mix well, form into loaf and put in a pan. Top with shredded parmesan, or ketchup if you're ghetto. Bake at about 350 for around 45 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and reaches internal temp of 160. (If you take it out of the oven at 150-155, it will come up to 160 as it rests for 5-10 minutes).

I save the crackers in a big tupperware containers and crush it up and use it like bread crumbs on crisps, fried chicken and the like. You can also do the same with corn flakes but I usually save the sweetened separate from the unsweetened because I use them in different types of recipes.

If they are just barely stale you might try crushing them up and using them in a bread pudding. Also, the previous suggestion of using them for meatballs or meatloaf is a good one. Good luck....or if they are very stale, feed them to the dog... : )
