I tasted it. Its not that good, even with hot saucve. It smells and taste like $hit.

Yes I do and it is chitterlings though people call them chitlins. I agree it does not smell good, however, there is a way to tone down the smell considerably. A potato added to the pot while cooking cuts down on the smell. Chitterlings (chitlins) are something you either like or hate. You don't acquire a taste for them. They are usually eaten with hotsauce and cornbread. Side items are coleslaw and/or spaghetti red. Many people know that chitlins are pork intestines and have to be thoroughly cleaned. I am very selective about whose chitlins I eat! A bit of trivia - people eat pork rinds, that is chitlins that are fried, not boiled. And I really like the BBQ ones!

Omg! I tasted chitlins when i was like 5 because i thought they were noodles, and i threw up at the table as soon as it entered my mouth. The smell of them is just disgusting!!! But my uncle loves him some chitlins! Barf!!!!!!

I am rich enough to not have to eat anything I don't want to. My parents made me eat cows tongue and pigs feet while growing up. I vowed to never have to eat $hit like that again nor would I force my child to eat it.
Many things have changed since the poor old days !!

the chittlins that you ate weren't cleaned good because they wont have that smell and if you hook-em up with hot sauce and mustard then they good as hell! or u can just fry them up and they taste even better like that

If they are cleaned properly and spiced well chitlins are quite good. I have had them before and was shocked, it wasn't at all what i expected.

Well i do not like them myself so i really can not explain to you how to eat something i really do not care about. I have seen people eat them with Rice, slaw, and like you said with hot sauce and you are corrected they do stink.

i wont touch them with a ten foot pole. dont like looking at them in the store, dont like the smell when they are being cooked, or looking at people when they are eating them.
