It is possible but rare. There was a case in the city I live in where a patient had sleep apnea and died under anesthesia while having wisdom teeth cut out. Talk with you doctor before going under to rule out any health risks.

I don't think dental per-say.......going under is risky in any situation. The bad teeth germs can go to the heart and be worse than anything. My husband has a heart condition and has to have meds before any dental visit.

yes. not terribly likely, but many things can trigger cardiac events, just as dental anaesthesia can trigger many things. If you have any cardiac issues, tell your dentist before any procedures.
