Question

I think I have some kind of STD or STI. I have looked up symptoms on the internet, and what I have doesn't seem to match any one of them.

I am on Yasmin, but I missed this month. I know this is very bad, and I am wondering if that may be part of the problem.

It started last week as brown discharge -- almost like spotting. Now it is watery pinkish discharge, with a horrible fishy smell.

It itches like hell, and I have some little red bumps at the opening of my vagina that are very painful.

Any idea what this is?

I don't have health insurance and can't afford to go to the doctor right now.

What are my other options?

okay this either sounds like a really bad reaction to yasmin like your body is fighting it or a bad case of bacterial vaginosis or herpes let me explain
bacterial vaginosis feels alot like a yeast infection if you ever had one its itchy and irritating but no bumps but bacterial vaginosis smells very fishy
herpes doesnt smell but it does have painfull bumps fallowed by ulcers were the bumps were and a white discharge
your only option is to go to a free clinic like planned parenthood they can give you a free pap test and medication to let you know what it is go right away and email me if you need to

It sounds to me like you are suffering from irregular menstral cycle problems. Yasmin can cause your periods to be irregular. The brown discharge you are having is old blood stored in your body and when it turns pinkish it is renewing itself and cleaning itself out. It is okay to bathe during your period and discharge times. The fish smell is old blood. DO you use tampons? could be fibers left inside you rotting. You might also have a yeast infection...............try creams over the counter. You could have red bumps from pad irritation too.

I THINK YOU COULD POSSIBLY HAVE A YEAST INFECTION- THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE ITCHING. THE RED BUMPS ARE PROBABLY FROM ITCHING. THE HORRIBLE FISH SMELL IS PROBLY BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS(GARDNERELLA VAGINALIS) . WOMEN CAN HAVE THIS BACTERIA AS NORMAL FLORA BUT SOMETIMES THIS BACTERIA CAN OVERGROW IN THE VAGINA CAUSING A PROBLEM. YOU WILL NEED MEDICATION FOR THIS. THERE ARE PLACES TO GO WHEN YOU CANT AFFORD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR GET ONLINE AND LOOK IN IOWA OURS IS PLANNED PARENTHOOD. ABOUT THE YEAST INFECTION GO TRY SOME OVER THE COUNTER YEAST INFECTION CREAM- GENERIC WILL WORK.DONT USE ANY SOAP UNTIL THIS IS OVERWITH IT WILL MAKE IT WORSE, JUST USE WARM WATER!

I would look in the directory and seek help at free clinic if there is one in your area infections not treated can lead to future problems. Also try cleaning your area with peroxide a couple of times a day it will clean the infection so that your good bacteria may be able to fight back....but please seek some sort of medical help. good luck

you deffinity have some sort of STD even though i too am not able to find what it may be. i suggest that you go to your school based health center or a health clinic in your town
they can help you come up for some type of finical aid to help you out

You can go to the health dept.in your town.They charge you according to your income and it usually isn't much and it would be worth it to have your health in good shape.
Anytime there is a bad smell it is an infection.
