i used to have lots of problems with my ears being blocked.
the bestt hign to do is go and see your GP
they will give you an appointment to have them syringed.
its nothing to worry about really if they are just full of wax
they put a kind of warm jet of water in your ear to dislodge the wax.
don't worry about but good luck anyway. hope its all sorted out soon for you.
Happy New Year!

There are various causes of 'blocked ears'. Your GP needs to take a look in your ears and see if there is any wax or inflammation in the ear canal. If so then they will arrange to treat this. The most likely cause however is that the drainage from the middle ear to the nose is not great at the moment. Without knowing your medical history it would be difficult to comment however why not ask your pharmacist if a decongestant would be suitable for you. Often this is just a matter of time until it settles. Make an appointment to see your GP over the next few days but it is unlikely that anything but time will improve your condition unless there is wax there.

Firstly, a number of products such as ear drops are available from the chemist. Ask the pharmacist - not just a shop assistant - if there is anything that could help. If you have had blocked ears for two weeks, I would hope you have done this already, in which case the second step is to go to the doctor.
Blocked ears usually result from things like excessive build up of ear wax, which are not in themselves remedied by antibiotics, although their causes might be.

You probably need your ears syringed. You will need to put an oil in your ears first to soften the wax, 3 times a day for about 4-5 days. Then your local nurse at your surgery can do it. They just flush warm water in your ears. Its an actually lovely feeling, like scatching the itch you can't reach. Hopefully this should clear your blockage.

If the pressure drops in your inner ear, it will feel blocked or full or clogged, and you are likely to have other symptoms of Meniere's disease. This is a very common but misdiagnosed condition. It is likely to clear up on its own.

If the doctor's syringe treatment doesn't work and the decongestant doesn't work, try an antihistamine like Benedryl. I get stuffy ears from allergies and at the end of a cold.

If the blockage is above the eardrum the doctor can syringe it. If it is below the eardrum like I get then sudafed will help. This is a decongestant that you can get from the chemist

I don't suggest ear candling, as it sounds like a form of quackery.
Decongestant < Olive oil < Syringe.
