YES!! the CO binds to the red blood cells and they then will not bind with the oxygen. without oxygen in your blood your organs, especially your brain, cannot get the needed oxygen and they eventually die. if the car is running without ventilation the oxygen is eventually all used up and you breath in the CO and die unless rescued. this is not a cery pleasant way to die.

It is used in many suicide attempts but is usually not succesful. It takes a long time to die and if rescued the person is usually brain damaged. The severity depending on how long the brain was starved of oxygen and poisoned by monoxide.

If enough carbon monoxide is inhaled, yes. If the person is found and treated soon enough, no. Even then though, there can be serious problems including extensive brain damage.

Yes,Yes, Yes.I hope you are just curious and not considering doing something foolish.That would be tragic.If your body is presented air,containing carbon monoxide, cells which uptake oxygen normally will uptake carbon monoxide instead.This results in oxygen deprivation which will lead to death.

100 % for sure. i can tell you however that although there have been deaths of people who have bedrooms above the garage from this smoke i dont understand how it happens . lets just say i have seen lost of this in a closed space for a long time and it didnt kill me made me hot but i am not dead or damaged.

Not as long as your car is working on hydrogen,fuel cells or on electricity.
Otherwise I wouldn't recommend you to run the cars engine in a confined space

it very much is. the amazing part is the actual killing gas has no smell, but after inhaling it a while, you do die when the concentratio is enough and you get no air in a closed space.

yes it is. i had a very good friend in highschool that killed himself by putting one end of a waterhose to his tailpipe then the other inside the window he was only 17 so to answer your question yes it will
