Dear patient,
I think your dr. if not a cardiologist is just beating you round the bush,
Pl. report to a good cardiologist as arrhythmias, are dangerous and I am wondering how did he let you go AS RISK PATIENT WITHOUT PROPER ACS/ACP!!!!!
Regards,
Dr.Qutub

sally,
There are arrhythmias and then there are arrhythmias. Not all of them are dangerous (such as a vasovagal event, when the heart slows down for a few seconds, or paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, when the top two chambers of the heart speed up for a moment or two), but some of them are, and some of the ones that are look very much like those that are not except to certain tests.
What kind of exam has your doctor given you? Did you have an arrhythmia while the test was in progress?
If not, then the doctor may not know all that there is to know about the arrhythmia.
You say that you can feel your heartbeat when you are quiet. That is normal. What kind of arrhythmia do you fell then? Does your heart skip a beat, that is, beat twice quickly, then pause, then resume beating normally? Does it speed up? Does the top part speed up really quickly for a time? Some of these tachycardias (fast heart rates) are harmless. Some are not. Does it slow down? That may or may not be dangerous.
At present, there really isn't enough information to know what's going on with you. I would say that a really good rule of thumb, though, is that, if you are not feeling any other symptoms (dizzy, faint, breathless), then your arrhythmia probably isn't dangerous.

Sounds like you are experiencing PVC's (premature ventricular contractions). Or in layman's terms your heart is skipping a beat. They are not dangerous unless you tend to put what we call "a run" of them together. Most of us experience them from time to time and don't even realize it. Most are noticed during our quiet times when we can pay attention to our bodies more. If you are drinking caffeine it is usually the reason why you experience them more often. However, stress can play havoc on your heart as well. Arrythmias are more than jus "heart skipping beats". There are many different types out there. If your doctor did not specifically say you have one type you probably are experiencing PVC's.

An arrhythmia does mean irregular heartbeat but not all of them are life threatening. I would not let it stress you out, that could lead to more episodes. If you start to feel dizzy, light headed and can feel the irregularity in your pulse, go to the doctor. High stress can do this.

If it replaced into, they does not grant it to him. i've got have been given considered little ones on television scientific shows get significant assessments performed. He needs the try or the doctor does not placed him by it. to boot a CT try is like working a guy or lady by a plastic hoop at the same time as laying on a table. it extremely isn't to any extent further complicated. And it in lots of cases lasts somewhat a minute till ultimately something significant is going on. I had one for an hour, yet i replaced into laying down with ease the completed time!

yeah, arrythmia is just irregular heartbeat...but most significant factor of any heart disease, is age unless you are born with any cardiac abnormalities. mostly arrythmia are just misplacement of electrode by the medical staff... or perhaps, during your ecg you were very nervous.... dont worry, if you are young this will do no harm, just calm your self down...
