Be sure you are eating plenty of yogurt with live active cultures or taking acidophillus capsules to help prevent yeast infections. Also be sure you see the doc when you do have an infection so he can culture it to be sure that is what you have. Do not douche and if you are female and do not use soap or feminine hygeine products. Make sure your underwear is 100% cotton. Since you are prone to frequent yeast infections be sure your doc has tested your for diabetes and diabetics tend to be prone to yeast infections.

I have had herpes for, gee, about the same number of years, but very, very rarely get yeast infections. One of my my X husbands has systemic yeast (all through his system), ask your dr (if you have one) maybe he can give you an anti-fungal to take orally that could help regulate those infections. Are they related to the herpes outbreaks?

I use to, I do have gential herpes, but my yeast infection was from my brith control, so I switched to the patch on my brith control and haven't had a yeast infection since.
