makeovers! decorate the whole house in pink (or whatever her favorite color is) have a nail salon station, a makeup station, a hair station, and a food station! what kind of girl party would it be without a bunch of junk food, get a bunch of pizzas, chips, cheetos, pretzels, a lot of different candies in different shaped pink bowls. make some cookies and a big cake (or get it at a local grocery store). if she is a girly 12 year old then she will love this party i promise! have fun!

Is it a girl or a boy? Well either way, I think a Fear Factor theme would be neat! A kid up the road from me had a Fear Factor themed B-day back in early Nov. It was really neat, his mom bought marked-down candy after Halloween that included gummy eyeballs, candy mice and rats, gummy worms, and a bunch of other things that she mixed and it turned out really neat. Also, she put together some obstacle courses for the kids to go through. I don't know all the details because I wasn't there, but she was telling me about it. Good Luck!

My question also was it for a boy or girl? For either boy or girl I think at that age they all enjoy something like a dance party. It is even that more exciting to them if you could hire a dj or know someone that could dj for you.
If it is just for a girl then something like a pamper party is kewl with them. You could set a certain number of her friends that she invite. Check with a local salon about how much it would cost you to bring in a salon stylist to do their hair, maybe manicures, make up for them. They love that sort of thing!

you should DEFINATELY talk with the girl herself. as a once 12 year old, i know that if i had a party not at all planned by me, it would not be fun. anyway, it's always fun to do makeover parties, tropical themed or a movie themed party have fun!
