I remember when I had pneumonia when I was 16, the doctor said I had asthma. But, Ive been playing basketball, running and working out 3 times a week for about 7 years and never had an asthma attack. I’m 24 now and I never had any kind of symptoms of Asthma in my life. Was the Dr. wrong?

Asthma has many clinical presentations and degrees of severity. It sounds like you have a mild form that only reacts to specific stimuli, ie., mold, dust, possibly cold air, etc. If you were evaluated with a breathing test that measures your expiratory flow (how fast you can breath out in one second) and the results demonstrated a decreased flow you likely received a proper diagnosis. You should have been given instructions on how to treat a possible "attack" if one should occur and medications to relieve the symptoms as well. If not, you may want to consult a pulmonary specialist for proper direction. Asthma can not only be bothersome it can be life threatening if not kept under control. It is, however, generally easy to control and you would be well advised to get a definitive diagnosis and good medical direction.

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?

No he still isn't wrong. There are different degrees of asthma. Your is very mild, you probably are a bit more prone to lung issues when you get a cold and such. If you went somewhere with bad air that could probably cause it to flare up. You don't have to have an asthma attack to have asthma, yours is just under control which is a blessing!
