Take it from a nurse that knows about the field
ITS NOT all the same people!
Everyone's body acts different to the virus.
herpes lies dormant and comes out in times when your immune system is being compromised (like a fever or stress)
that's why in the valtrex commercials they say if you have HIV to go tell your doctor.
the first time it is contracted id the most severe case one will have (most of the time)
it can range from painful, discharging blisters to mild redness with no discomfort.
some people may experience herpes outbreaks only a couple of times a year, while others might have outbreaks so often that they will need suppressive therapy to lower the outbreaks (that's one Valtrex pill a day)
The upside is that it is relatively manageable, and that medications help suppress symptoms
the downside is that its not curable and that it can be spread to others, and since it can be passed trough the placenta of a mother to a baby, it can (but not necessarily) cause blindness, deafness, and anencephaly to the unborn child.
* Anencephaly is a condition in which the child is born without the larger portion of the brain. its fatal within a few days of birth
I hope i answered your question

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.
Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 years back, when I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/8NKyS everything improved.
Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

The actual virus is the same in anyone who has herpes. However some people do have milder symptoms than others. Some have no symptoms at all & don't even know they carry the virus. Either way it can be spread with or without sores being present. Hope that helped.

Nope, it's very different for everyone.
80% of people with herpes type2 don't even know they have it!
A very small number of people get it so bad they can't walk becasue of the pain.
It all depends on your body. Herpes is a virus that acts very differently in all people.

I'm pretty sure you either have it or you don't. I think it, I guess you'd say lives in the nerve cells so it's possible that more or less of those cells are infected. It's probably best to ask a doctor about your particular case.

It's all the same. Sometimes you can have a mild outbreak, no outbreak or a really bad outbreak but you still have an incurable std.
