mary jane causes PVCs, which is ventricular premature beats, if you have a long run of them, keep coughing so you won't pass out................it's makes me more anxious, that's why i don't smoke it anymore..................

I can never remember the name for this even though I have the same thing......or what sounds like the same thing. It's usually inherited and is not dangerous. Basically it is a valve in the heart that opens..(as it should) for the blood flow.....what happens is the valve will stay open a little longer than what is normal and that is what causes the racing fluttery feeling and it usually lasts just a few seconds. The only way that this becomes a concern is if it happens really frequently or lasts longer than a few seconds and/or it causes some type of debilitation to your normal day/night.
But.....like I said....this only sounds like the same thing, You should probably still have it checked out to make sure it isn't something else and something more serious. Personally, I don't think smoking MJ has anything to do with it.
My flutters come more often when I'm relaxed.

Your physician and cardiologist is the place to find your answers. Here we are just giving our opinions based on limited experience.

If you have had an EKG and the Holter monitor, you are probably experiencing anxiety. It's very scary but not life-threatening BUT you need to hear a doctor tell you that.

Glad to hear you stopped smoking - my son-in-law is 40 years old (just turned 40 in November of 2005). The day after Christmas he had a heart attack - they had to re-start his heart twice! He was a smoker too.

At 15 years old, you are setting the pace for the rest of your life - you have choices to make and you need to make them now.
Either you can live a healthy lifestyle by getting enough regularly scheduled exercise, eating low carbohydrate diet, lots of good veggies and good fruits, no smoking - at all, or you can say, "awww, what the heck, I am young, I can do all of that and it won't affect me!" But it will effect you and it will come up much sooner and much harder than you can even imagine right now.

Take control of your life - this is not a dress rehearsal - it is YOUR life.

Get going!

I doubt very seriously if anyone out here is qualified to give you that kind of medical advice.

Even if there is, they would tell you to GO SEE A DOCTOR!
That is the best thing you could do for yourself and your family.
