I was recently unwell and had a virus the Dr was concerned because my pulse rate was 151 is this bad and Why?

That is very high. A normal resting pulse for a healthy individual is between 60 and 70 beats per minute (bpm). Anything over 100 bpm (unless you've been exercising) is considered tachycardia -- an abnormally high heart rate.

A resting pulse rate of 151 is indeed cause for concern.

Normal pulse rate is for an adult between 70and 100.A pulse rate of 151 is abnormal and could be a sign of tachacardia or atrial fib.

That is very high for resting pulse rate. Normal would be 60-80. Means your heart is working very hard to pump your blood. There could be thousands of reasons, you Doc probably told you some.

the normal's 60-80.. think you're having palpitations th time u reached 151.. that's really kind of critical..

im preety sure normal is around 90 to 120

yes that really bad. 68 is average. you might want to call an ambulance.
