That is very high. A normal resting pulse for a healthy individual is between 60 and 70 beats per minute (bpm). Anything over 100 bpm (unless you've been exercising) is considered tachycardia -- an abnormally high heart rate.
A resting pulse rate of 151 is indeed cause for concern.

That is very high for resting pulse rate. Normal would be 60-80. Means your heart is working very hard to pump your blood. There could be thousands of reasons, you Doc probably told you some.
