ok is itchiness a symptom of a STD yes it is but usually around your genital area not the legs. there could be many reasons for itching of the legs eczema, dry skin, allergy. first try a good moisturizer and see if that helps. another problem could be restless legs though I would look at the first ones before going to restless legs. Do you have a rash of any kind? You know the only 100% sign of an STD is none at all. No sign, no symptom so instead of worring that you have a std use protection if not to protect her protect yourself......... good luck

The itchiness could be due to a million reasons. The restless leg syndrome (mentioned above), allergies to the washing detergent you have used for your pyjamas or bedding, a dustmite allergy. If you shave your legs, it could be the itchiness of the hair growing through. It could be anything, really.
Why did you presume it may be a side effect of an STD? have you recently put yourself in a situation where you feel you may have contracted one? Is it just between your legs near your genitals that is itchy? If so, it may be you have thrush (not an STD as such, but can be passed via sex).
Book an appointment at your local sexual health clinic and get tested, just for your peace of mind. In the future, wear a condom and be careful so that daily events- itchiness etc- don't give you cause for worry :)

could be evidence of some parasites like body lice or fleas or scabies or an allergy to the laundry detergent you are washing your clothes in.
where on your legs? behind your knees? could be eczema.
best idea I can think of is to bathe in pure, unadulterated essential oils like Lavender or one of the tree oils-- spruce, pine, balsalm--. Just add 10-20 drops of the essential oils to a 1/4 cup of epsom salt and add to the running water before getting into the tub. The essential oils will do the trick if it's anything on the surface or just slightly under the surface of your skin.
Good luck!

It could be Restless Leg Syndrome. This is one of the symptoms my Mom had when diagnosed with this. Her Dr. put her on meds that work very well.

yes it is a symptom, but the itchyness is usually in the genital area. Mabye your thighs are sweating while you sleep. Try putting a pillow between your legs or wearing long shorts or sweatpants.

You have bedbugs. They hide during the day and come out at night and bite you on the legs. There actually is a rise in the occurance of these parasites.

do you have a rash?
it could be a fungal infection.
especially if you are sweating a lot
in between your legs.
And if you are sweating, and there
is no rash.. you're probably just itchy
cuz you've been sweating and your legs are
rubbing together.
