How is the circulation in her legs? Does she have any other conditions like diabetes? It is hard to say with the info that you have given. Has she told her dr?

She might have multiple microembolus that have occluded the popliteal arteries...but this isn't the place to be asking this question....she should tell her surgeon, pronto.
