It sure can, but that is not the only thing that is affected by drinking like that, You are killing off allot of grey matter in your brain, heavy drinkers are known to have smaller brains because of this. ( Autopsy proven)
This can also cause heart problems, kidney problems lets just say every vital organ in your body is affected by heavy drinking.

Drinking water heavily will NOT cause cirrhosis of the liver.
Drinking alcohol heavily will NOT cause cirrhosis of the liver if the latter is made up of diamond- the hardest substance known. Otherwise the liver would not be living that long (10 years) to get cirrhosis !

Tell me what you THINK the answer is! It does not take a medical degree to figure out that pouring alcohol into your body for ten years is obviously going to cause problems. Have you EVER heard of an alcoholic dying from Cirrhosis? Are you hoping someone will say no, so that you can continue for another ten? Well, you are lucky you made it through the first ten!

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. YES is can and so can taking to many painkillers that contain codeine. You should be taking MILK THISTLE this helps to clean out the liver and neutralises the effect of the alcohol, You get them from any health store

Sadly, yes it can.
I lost a dear friend to this dreadful disease two years ago in January coming...she was only 48...I had known her for 44 years, and I still can't believe she is gone. It's breaking my heart tonight as I am in the UK and although British herself she was in the USA, and I used to ring her every year as Big Ben chimed in the New Year....not anymore I'm afraid..
And NO...I haven't just made this up...

Be warned, it nearly killed me and I was lucky to survive. Three pals died shortly after I came out of hospital, all in the matter of 3 days so I thank my lucky stars I'm still here.
Give it up whilst your liver has a fighting chance. Life without booze is better than the alternative.
