My husband snores, which keeps me up at night. I know he can't help it- he suffers from a condition called "sleep apnea." To help prevent it, try buying a medicine entitled "Breath Right." It is a strip you put on your nose while you sleep. Or, try sleeping on your side.

A person who snores could sleep on their sides, use a Breathe Right strip on their nose, or see their dentist to have a no-snoring appliance made that is worn at night.

I went on a vacation with my sister who made me buy "Breathe Right" nasal strips. She said it reduced my snoring considerably. You can get them at any pharmacy for about $5.50; its worth a try.

try sleeping elevated. With your head up high and on your back. It opens up your airway.
