I fear dying now, but I do not fear death in the end... I'm pretty sure there is life after death, however I also believe life here on Earth is quite special, and if I may say so, very interesting & loads of fun! So even if the afterlife is good also, I still want quite a bit more of this Eartlhy life first... eternity is long enough to enjoy the afterlife, and I don't believe I can ever go back, so I want to get all I can from the here & now! Hope this makes sense....

I don't fear death itself. I am a born again Christian and going to heaven when I die. I fear certain types of death. I had a house burn and I have a fear of dying in a fire, I have a fear of suffocation. As a nurse I have seen the panic and the genuine fear that goes with not being able to breath. I think that death is the one thing that we can't truly control or avoid and that is why people are so concerned about it.

Death IS nothing to fear. It is the LIVING that is the problem. There is nothing to be afraid of about death at all. Since this question is posted in this Forum I will add that unless you have the Lord and have repented for your sins and accepted Him as your Savior, yes THEN there is something to fear.

I don`t fear death because I am ready for anything:
I admire the world for its physical magnificent cool nature refreshing beauty. I was born in times of sophisticated computer supported inventions and displays which highlighted the world we lived in...and we witness the added mechanical, colorful things that add beauty to this world. Those are our physical, psychological consolation, satisfaction of being born into this world... But flipsided with abuse, creation of mass weapon of destructions, competitions, hatred from rivalry, wars, etc., since later on we will all die too in violent death...I opted for spiritual readiness too hand in hand with physical/psychological satisfaction...so that after you die (spirits lives alone, body rotten back to soil) our spirit can savor the beauty of spiritual world with God which is eternal. And our spirit is happy, peaceful & satisfied.
Spiritual readiness is not really that hard to accomplish. Just love and accept God compared to rejecting evil satan. And love everyone as yourself. How? Love and do not harm or hurt anyone. If you cannot love anyone then you are under satan spell. If you love everyone...means you love God because you love His most special creation out of love, in His image and likeness...called man/humankind.
If you have LOVE in your heart...then you can live anywhere else...this physical world or the spiritual world in heaven/paradise.
Really...no problem at all.....or never any fear at all, whensoever.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
That is the promise that all believers in Christ have given to them.
He has gone to prepare a place for each of us who are believers.
It will be a magnificent place, and to be in the presence of the man that almost all the world holds in high esteem.

Those who do not accept Jesus as the Son of God, say he was a perfect role model for all humanity.

I do not fear death.

I think we sent to this world to accomplishment, and death is one way to accomplishment.
This world is not the main purpose. It's just a pathway. We are here to reach somethings we need to reach accomplishment.
Then I don't fear from death.
