You seem so hasty, You do need a savior in this evil world. God sent his son to die for us so that we may have eternal life spent with him. He came to us to prove who God was. God loved us that much. If you cant get that...theres a problem inside you, not me.

Even if you just look at the historical Jesus, instead of the spiritual "savior" Jesus, he did a great deal. He preached that the common person was blessed, and a child of God. In an age that was hugely classist, he preached the value of the leper, the woman, the criminal. He also preached peace, although a lot of that kind of got lost after a few centuries. Those beliefs were a huge change. In debating whether or not he was the Son of God, whether he resurrected, etc., we sometimes forget what an impact the historic Jesus, as a rabbi and a prophet, made on the Western World.

In reality, Jesus merely shared a message - a theory if you will and the basis of that was about common decency and love.
Whether he believed he spoke to a God is debatable but in those days, gods were all the rage so it's understandable that he might believe that he was communicating with a god.
He wasn't a super hero - the rest of it was propaganda straight and simple. A trick that's used each and every day in the media today - telling the story how YOU want others to believe it.
What happened 2000 years ago is irrelevant, but people need to have something to believe in and for some people it's less scary to believe what you're told by another than it is to listen to your own inner voice and conscience. In some cases, people are basically taught from birth so in a way it is brain washing. For others, desperation to belong to a group or to believe in something - anything is their motivation.
We're all a part of nature and nature must have balance. The horrible behaviours etc. 2000 years ago needed to be rebalanced with love and decency. We have gone around in a circle it seems and returned to the behaviours of those days because we certainly need a good dose of love, understanding and decency in the world today.

You seem to obtain most of your Ideas from Television and films. Perhaps it would be a good Idea for you to dump the telly and do a bit of Bible study on all the prophecy's you can glean from the Bible. The Holocaust is very relevant to your study as is the state of the middle east. I'm sure if you concentrate your intellect in these areas rather than going to the pictures and watching your wall to wall television you will gain more insight and gain a deeper knowledge. i will attempt to maintain this short (you may examine finished books in this very question) - sure. He became a human, like us, yet in addition God (in Trinitarian Christian thinking). He died for countless reasons. One became to pay the "blood cost" for our sins. Jews used to hold sacrifices to the Temple, the place the priests could kill the animal, which might "pay" for the sin of the guy featuring the sacrifice. Jesus' sacrifice for us potential the blood cost for our sins has already been paid. we don't would desire to sacrifice anymore. yet one extra reason became to make certain his loss of life, and then coming lower back to existence. This the "sturdy information" (aka Gospel), the large message approximately eternal stay. He became human, became killed, and then grew to alter into alive lower back - basically as we can. maximum of the OT has prophecy that finally leads to Jesus. examine Isaiah, or perhaps Psalm 22. it somewhat is eerily on the factor of the crucifixion tale, inspite of being written long in the previous it handed off. All that's recorded interior the Bible, via eyewitnesses to the activities. even inspite of the shown fact that, there are different writers, rather Josephus, a Jewish historian, that mentions Jesus. The Bible is, via a ingredient of roughly 1000, the final historical source text fabric in existence. There! Very speedy, yet i'm hoping I hit the highlights a minimum of! As for the way it feels - large!

You're right. Jesus wasn't the "savior" that so many want to believe in. His life was a "message to Ahab," and the rest of humanity regarding the validity of the prophecy. He was predicted in the book of Isaiah, and called "Immanuel," who was to be the "son of a virgin." The strange part of it is that "Immanuel" wasn't described as the Messiah, but rather as the one who would start a religion that would eventually become the religion that destroyes the cities of the world. (See Isaiah 6-14)
Sincerely,
Chris

The brains are washed of those who has it. I always ased the christians about the Bible which is best out of many they says that none of all is more than 80 percent correct so how can you say that the religion of their type they are following is correct.
Muslim follow sunnah and Quran.
Do Christians follow Bible and Jesus.

Jesus has actually brainwashed us, we have a new mind, His. Only one way for you to understand us:
Rom 12:1 For this reason I make request to you, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him.
Rom 12:2 And let not your behaviour be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God.
