Yes he was of the house of david. Joseph was born of the lineage of King David and the honor was bestowed upon Jesus as Joseph was his earthly father.

How could Jesus fulfill the messianic prophecy when he was not of the house of David? His biological parents weren't.

Where did god come from. Something as complex as a god must have had a creator

No mortgagegirl, he wasn't. Joseph was but his real father, God wasn't therfore there was no bloodline to David. You can bestow honorary fatherhood on Joseph all you want but it doesn't make any difference. Jesus was not of the house of David.
