I have heard that putting tea bags helps, can it be any tea?
Oh and does putting a really cold spoon or ice under eye help?

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. Do that to start with, and then use Heylexin, this is the best most well known product for dark circles. Here check this out.

Dark circles are often an indication of depression stress worry. That said the main culprit is a lack of circulation in the skin beneath the eyes suggesting gentle fingertip massage at least once or twice a day. As for tea; herbal is best, chamomile and comfrey are most recomended though certain herbalist insist upon either lavender tea or lavender oil. Raw steak is also helpful but offensive to vegetarians. Egg whites are an old fashion folk cure.

Peace...

you asked about tea bags. yes they work. they must be called. regular tea is fine but the best is CHAMOMILE. do not put it in the freezer, just make the tea, take out the tea bags and let them cool and then apply to eyes. cucumber slices are good too but they are mostly for puffiness. i dont think personally sleep has a whole lot to do with it since i can sleep all i want and still have undereye cirlces :( unfortunately! but try these home remedies first before spending a fortune of undereye creams!

Generally bags under eyes are only aggravated by things such as stress, smoking, lack of sleep etc. It is probable that you have a vitamin deficiency of some sort; have you been eating properly recently? It may be helpful to invest in a multivitamin tablet which will sort out those bags long term. :)
However, if you are on medication e.g. for asthma that could be a large contributing factor (i always end up with bags under my eyes when I've used my inhaler) if so, talk to your GP about it.

In the short run however, you could try:
a.) concealer
b.)drinking lots of water (helps flush out the system)
c.)a moisturiser with vitamin E
d.)Soak cotton wool in cucumber juice or potato juice & apply around the eyes to get rid of dark circles. (works like a charm.)

hope this helps :)

Don't underestimate sleep! It has a lot to do with it. So the easiest , most effective way is to sleep.
Other than that try tea bags, cucumbers, cold packs, eye cream works wonders. Try Oil of Olay Eye Transformation Cream. It's fabulous and we make the appearance of bags, wrinkles , and darkness disappear.
I use it and have noticed a huge difference in my overall eye appearance.

One Method: Place two spoons under cold water and them place them in the freezer for about 10 to 20 minutes. Take them out and place them on your eyes and underneath them. It really works!
Second Method: Splash your face with warm water and then put a cool washcloth under your eyes. Then put some liquid concealer under your eyes and blend well. Then dust with a light powder for a fresh look.

I have them too, try Dr. Pericone eye cream with alpha-lipoic acid. Whenever my aunt buys his products they give you free samples, and they last a really long time. You just apply the cream under your eyes morning, and evening. Even if you do decide to use the cream, which will really help, try some home remedies along with the cream. They have step 1, and step 2, and even another cream for sale. They're kind of expensive.

Hexylin is recommended but I think that is just non Stinky PreparationH. The culprit is nothing listed here but rubbing your eyes is the worst. The blood vessels are super tiny here and rubbing breaks them and leaking blood causes the problem. Thus PrepH causes shrinking of "tissues" and the blood vessels stop leaking. Seriously - ask a doctor and not someone at the spa as they are selling "product".

I don't know about those natural remedies but if you want immediate results just cover them up with some heavy duty concealer, try Benefit's "realness of concealness" it contains an eye concealer made especially for dark circles.
