i need some new subwoofers and i want good ones but nonexpensive ones ... any suggestions on which ones i should try or any websites to check out?

go with 2 Kicker Comps. they do 150W RMS and 300W max. They're Kickers bottom line, but they absolutely KILL all other bottom like subwoofers. I know they can also out- bump Eclipse and Rockford Fosgate second level subs. I believe Crutchfield is having a buy one get one free deal on them. if not, check at www.onlinecarstereo.com.

The 10-12" ones on new years special 2moro at your local store, and careful placement. $2k worth of subs & amps can sound worse than $200 worth done badly or too big. Also, make damn sure you car dont rattle with it, completely kills any gains.

go to wal-mart and buy a "Bazooka" subwoofer... you dont need special mounts or anything and its a cheap subwoofer for under 100 dollars. just put it in your trunk and your all set =)
