Oh crap no!! Sincerity isn't age related at all. A lot of folks go through a second childhood at 40 and sometimes, it a marriage has ended or something, a person can be even more of a jerk at 40 that he ever was before.
I would suggest that all the normal cautions be taken! See if he walks his talk.

That's like suggesting that a person with blue eyes might be a better bowler than a person with brown eyes...one thing has very little to do with the other! When was he born, what's his backjground, how well educated is he and what do you share in common? These things play a much more significant role in how you are treated than his age...though, an older man would tend to be a little less irate because of testosterone battle going on in his brain...

Oh God I wouldn't say that I have been married to the same man for 14 years. He is 49 now. He is a person all people have different traits from there upbringing. I don't care what age they are the person is either good or bad. They don't change if they show good traits don't let it fool you take it slow you see the changes in months to come, If none then you got a good one.

I don't believe age has much to do with it, rather its the character of the man.
I've never personally been one to play games, i've never cheated or been controlling or manipulative in any relationship. I've often used the words "I love you" but they came from my heart, I didn't just mouth the words. I've always been this way.
I'm 52 now and i haven't changed. Of course all men are different and many change their habits throughout their lives.
Hope this helps.

If you think 40 is good, wait for 50! Major trend in colleges across the USA, older men are in. Women today are tired of waiting for dudes to grow up & treat them like ladies. So they have discover older dudes are more stable, thus more fun to be with. Several of my girlfriends 22, 23 years old, just finishing college and are dating men as old as their father. And it's spreading. These younger dudes need to wake up or all they will have left to date will be girls in jr high.

I don't think age has anything to do with sincerity although I believe older guys are more serious about commitment than younger guys.
