When the prophet died close to 1400 years ago?

"O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the prophet, nor speak aloud to him." Quran xlix,2

"O ye who believe! Enter not the prophet's houses until leave is given you for a meal, not to wait for it's preparation, but when you are invited enter, and when you have taken your meal disperse without seeking familiar talk." Quran xxxiii, 53

How many Muslims understand the Quran, that Muhmmad was alive and well while it was being revealed and some of it relates only to those who lived with him?

How many Muslims understand the Quran when it says you must obey Allah and obey His Apostle that it never speaks of Hadith that were recorded and were unreliable and outside of Revelation

"Say! It is not for me of my own accord to change it." Quran x, 15-16

There is no prophet with us today, but surely, the Quran is with us.

Is this too difficult to understand?

Mankind has taken 1400 years with 20th. Century technology and scientists and research resources to begin to unravel the amazing scientific information contained in the Quran about:
Human Embryonic Development,
Mountains,
The Origins of the Universe, The Cerebrum,
Seas and Rivers,
Deep Seas and Internal Waves, and
Clouds.

There isn't one single Hadith that reports the prophet's scientific explanation of any one of the above topics. None of those who reported having hadith were able to elaborate on anything scientific. The prophet lacked the knowledge and the authority and they lacked the knowledge and no one was able to understand the scientific information contained in the Revelation that is the Quran before 20th. century advances in science, but Allah is the Exalted in Power, the Wise.

Hadith keep Islam in the stone age with sightings of the moon for Eid when the Quran tells of exactly computed courses of the moon, without error or deviation.

Wow very temporary message from an eternal God...So God wrote scripture just for the brief lifetime of Muhammad and it only was for people who was going to eat dinner with him that is a select few for an entire Quran message isnt it? Couldn't Muhammad have told those who ate at his house how to act?

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous,

Who believe in the unseen and observe prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them.

And who believe in that which has been revealed to thee and that which was revealed before thee and they have firm faith in the hereafter.

It is they who follow the guidance from their Lord and it is they who shall prosper.

Those who have disbelieved - it being alike to them whether thou warn them or warn them not - they will not believe.

yep the same goes true with the bible and christians. what is in the bible is gods law. what is in the koran is god's law. there arent really that many fundamental differences in "rules for being faithful" in the two books. people always want to write separate rule books of their interpretations of what to do..
