get some good quality spray conditioner or a de-tangler. Tiggi does a good de-tangler. Then use a wet comb to brush as far down your hair as you can go before dragging the knot. split the brushed hair in half and yank it. That is all you can do. Once its two smallerr knots, attack it with the comb, and use the de-tangler. Hurts, and not good for the hair, but it does work.

First of all, dare I ask how you got such a huge knot in your hair in the first place?? Anyway, saturate the knot with baby oil. Let it stay in for about 30 minutes and then began working the knot out in small sections. Yes, you will have to wash your hair afterwards, but so what? The knot will be out. Good luck to you and in the future, try to avoid whatever situation that got your hair in such a knot.

Just try to section the hair carefully. Comb a piece at a time. Some people will recommend oils or so forth. Only problem there is that you will have to wash it and comb all over again. Tough it out comb a portion at a time.

Well there is not much you can do best thing would be a hair cut to get it out but dont just go and snip it off go to a hairdressers because then they can shape it and maybe find a better way to stop you from losing alot of your hair
Hope this helped.xx

just hold ontop of the knot and brush it out make sure you have grip on your hair so u dont pull it out. If it's realy realy bad though ask some one to cut neatly ontop of the knot so it's out easyly. (don't cut it by your self as it may make your hair look realy messy.)

apply oil to that part (olive or coconut) and try to separate each strand by hand.. do not use a comb or brush!
