"Are you guys/girls ever concerned when you see your fellow Christians scoff at modern science, or do you really not care?" Quite honestly, from some of the responses I've seen from the fundagelicals [of any religion, actually] and the black-and-white, either-or dogmatism which goes with the fundagelical belief system -- I'm wonder if we might be falling headlong into a Second Dark Ages. It's bad enough when fundagelicals insist that: • dinosaurs and humans roamed the earth together 6,012 years ago; • water reached to a height of 29,135 feet and suddenly and mysteriously flowed back into the middle of the earth; • a falling ziggurat created all the world's languages; and that the world was created in six literal 24-hour days; but when these same fundagelicals turn around and INSIST that: • our system of civil laws and courts need to revert back to that of a primitive culture 4,000 years ago with the same punishments as were proscribed in the Old Testament; • "everything we need to know is in the Bible" ; • if we don't believe the Bible is literally, word-for-word true and never contradicts itself, then we don't believe in God; and • the Sun and the planets and the universe revolve around the Earth (just as is stated in the Bible) then I find myself more and more convinced that our educational system has been co-opted by the fundagelicals and is becoming (or has become) irretrievably broken, and we're headed down a path towards greater and greater ignorance. And by the way: I'm a practicing Christian, and I believe in the Big Bang and evolution; and I also believe that it is physically impossible for the atmosphere to have contained enough water vapor to precipitate into a world-wide flood which rained eight inches a minute for 40 24-hour days without stopping; and I also believe the Moon revolves around the Earth and the Earth revolves around the Sun.

Actually I don't agree. Some girls are just as superficial as guys when it comes to these matters. And some guys don't mind a bigger women, in fact some prefer it.
Anyway, Dawn French had no problems finding a man and lots of guys find Queen Latifah very attractive.

Young guys are basically shallow. Some one maybe a little older and more experience in life would figure out that whats on the inside is what counts the most. The person's personality and character is what really makes them sexy and appealing.

Men arent as sensitive as females are. We are drawn to a person more emotionally than physically. Men are the oposite. They also care alot about what their friends think, so they are less likely to bring a woman around if he's going to be picked on by her.

Not all guys are that way. I like and have dated quite a few women who were pleasantly plump. Then again, I'm not into centerfolds. Most have sh*tty attitudes and will order an expensive meal, but won't eat it.

It's not all like that. Some men are attracted to big women. It depends on their personality as well, not just their appearance. I've seen it both ways.

Well, I'm 6'0 tall and 180lbs...I don't want to strain my back trying to toss around somebody that's twice my body weight. HS football was fun, but those days are over...I'm into it for enjoyment, not to burn off excess energy! I just prefer petite women; I think I'm entitled to appreciate what I please, and you are welcome to do the same. Fat girls need love too...just not from me!

ok... look, theres nth wrong with big guys, cos itz natural that they're big sized. but women big sized... um... not veri good... wld you like a women looking like a men, with big muscles, or mayb, bigsizes, and with stomach lik theyre nine months pregnant? come on!

yes i have loved and dated larger ladies and i do know of guys that will ONLY date larger ladies --- but it is still all about the personality
