for example islam has no policy of excommunication. they stubbornly refuse to accept apostasy. whats the point in forcing islam down the throats of people who want to leave it?
what sense does it make?

You are an ex-muslimah. This simple fact proves that you can quit Islam. This is a choice. Naturally Islam does not 'welcome' revertors, but you are not forced to be a muslim when you choose not to be one.

I have never known someone who reverted from Islam before but if I do. I would still treat them as human beings. Only that I will be feeling sorry for them in my heart.

Peace

you know in there country that is there gig why try to change it. Why do the Cristian's try to ram their beliefs down other people throat's.I went through a period of being homeless after a divorce and had to turn to a shelter for a place to stay.If you didn't go to chapel you couldn't stay there and they could of cared less if it was 40 below zero out side or what religion you had.I have a middle eastern belief even though I was born an American and they walk on my beliefs all the time.

I've read story after story about people that have left islam and are threatened with bodily harm or even death. But there are people that still deny that, I guess they don't want their "religion" to look and sound bad and it is.

Acquire wisdom and truth from whomever you can because even an apostate can have them but unless they are passed over to a faithful Muslim and become part of wisdom and truth that he possesses, they have a confused existence in the minds of apostates.
