I expect that with all the hormonal changes she is going through that she is just feeling a bit out of sorts, all bitches react differently when they come into season, a friends b1tch vomits 2 or 3 times when the season first starts and she has done this for the 4 years I have known her, is your dog crying as if she is in pain? if she is then you need expert advice! I wouldn't worry too much if she isn't eating much as coming into season can sometimes put them off eating for a while, though if she goes more than 48hrs without food then you really do need to see the vet! If she isn't drinking anything then take her now!
I have to say that 'filthy gorgeous', you may be a vet?? but you have an attitude problem and I wouldn't bring any of my dogs to you!!!

my lab 9 month old had just come into season too...like your puppy she is just lying around..generally moping about!! we aren't worried about her though in our opinion if shes going through the pain that human women go through then i can understand her problem. we have been rubbing her tummy for her and she seems to want her comforts around her, like her blanket and teddy's. We bought her some hygeine pants which i would reccomend you to get your puppy its a pair of pants which has a changable liner in it , she wears it just when we are at home as we have light carpet and furniture. I would also be reluctant to take er out on many walks we have tended to walk our puppy around the garden as i would not like to risk getting attacked by a randy male dog !!!
She will be bouncy and ripe as rain again soon
Hope this helps

She is a women and like the rest of us gets moody around this time. As long as there is no smelly discharge and she is eating and drinking okay as well as still peeing and pooping then she is okay and it will pass. She should bleed for approx. 10 days then she will Stand for about 3 days. It is during the standing stage that her uterus gets soft and is ready to become pregnant.

I'd take her to the vet immediately, especially if you think your poor puppy is in pain. Puppies don't usually act like that unless somethings wrong. Don't forget 7-8 weeks is like a year in human time. Please have her checked out asap. GL.

If you were a grown woman you would not be asking this. When a woman goes in to "season" she has cramps and in general feels lousy. I imagine it is the same for her. In a few days she will feel better.

If there is no temperature, nasty smelling discharge or she has no other symptoms then maybe she is just grumpy or confused about what is happening to her rear end? If there are other symptoms get to the Vet fast!!

take her to the vet. no one can tell you whats wrong with your dog from your crappy description of her symptoms. also check she is defecating (pooing) because she may have a blockage, it is common amongst pups.
