Okay God tells the truth in fact He "IS" the truth but He DOES NOT tell it for the point of hitting you over the head with it, you can tell the truth good enough but tell it in such a way as to make it unessessarly painfull, the ONLY REASON to tell anyone the truth even as it is written in God's Word it LOVE if you do not love someone then your waisting your time telling them the truth, NO ONE will want to know how much you know UNTIL they know how much YOU CARE, God bless free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com email me also wgr88@yahoo.com

A truth teller and One should not be ashamed to tell the truth as far as GOD, is concerned.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of GOD unto salvation to everyone that believeth to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
BELIEF comes from GOD'S word. Romans 10:17
Those that believe God's word will obey God's word.
It is not faith only that saves us it is doing the will of GOD through FAITH. Acts 2:38 Mark 16:15,16 Acts 17:30 Acts 22:16 Romans 6:1,2,3,4. Romans 10:9,10; Acts 8:35-39

First of all if you are answering a Christian question, you don't answer to the best of your abilities, You answer Based on Truth from the bible, & if you answer the question correctly & leave no room for oubt, then you are not a hypocrite, Therefore the answer has to be based on a true revelation of the scriptures & not the best of our abilities.

A hypocrite is someone who says the opposite to what they believe or does the opposite to what they profess to so it would have to make you a truth teller.

If you give an honest answer with proof to back it up then you would be telling the truth as you perceive it to be. Whether or not the other party sees it the same is debateable. They may feel they have just as much proof to the contrary. Don't let it bother you though. All any of it is is simply opinion based. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it does not mesh with yours.

To properly answer your question; one needs to distinguish between assertions, opinions, speculations and facts. Just because a person 'quotes' the Bible; does not mean they have rightly divided it either. (2 Tim. 2:15).

I am not sure how this this could possibly make you a hypocrite unless if you preach what you do not do.
