Most anti-biotics these days are safe to drink with. Drinking will merely reduce the efficacy of the drug. However, don't be taking a whole pack of pills and then two bottles of vodka. Moderation and there will be no damage.

There's only certain antibiotics you can't drink on anyway! If you are on a course that stipulates no drinking then it's fine to drink once the course has finished. However, the majority of antibiotics are unaffected by alcohol, I believe it's only tetracyclines that are (my memory may be failing me though).

No, you shouldn't drink alcohol when the course is completed! Antibiotics take a couple of days to kick in, so it stands to reason that they take a couple of days to kick out again. My advice: wait a couple of days. Happy New Year.

That depends on which antibiotic. I personally wouldn't recommend mixing alcohol with any other drug - ESPECIALLY FLAGYL!!! You've been warned.
