If you really know her you will be able to tell her exactly what it is she wants to hear, don't complicate the issue by telling her the truth, it will cause all sorts of hassle. They are pretty easy to work out once you get to know them, Or as some one has already mentioned, tell her you are trying to work out Einstein's theory of relativity , she will soon nod off and leave you in peace.

It's painful the first few times, but in the long run you're in good shape if you stick to the same story that matches what she believes you should be thinking....
I've always stuck with "I'm imagining you with some other girl..." That pretty much ends the whole stupid conversation, confirms her belief that I'm a pervert, and gets me off the hook for anything more confrontational.
Alternatively, you can go for the traditional "I was considering the socio-political impact of global warming on Icelandic fishing communities..." Challenge with that is that, unlike the prior line, you have no upside to her choosing to continue the discussion.
Finally, you can go with the insincere complement: "You look good today. Did you lose weight?" She knows you're lying, but she'll overlook it because it serves her personal ends.

Well, that depends on what you're really thinking! Girls want to know that they are tought of & you can flatter her by say "You".
You should never be completely honest in this situation unless your thoughts are not really about one thing in particular. Work & what you did today are thoughts you can be honest about - "nothing" seems to work the rest of the time.

It all depends on the situation. I would suggest actually telling her, that is, if it's appropriate. If you're at a funeral and she asks you, don't tell her that you were thinking of this funny joke you heard at work. But, let her know what you're thinking.

Just say 'I am thinking of breaking up with you because you are always messing with my mind".
If that doesn't help say, "Do you think a chainsaw would rip cleanly through human flesh?"

Just tell her what you are thinking. And if you feel you can't tell her... then ask yourself why not? Maybe you shouldn't be with her if you feel you can't be honest with her.

Say that you're thinking about her and nothing else. Keep looking into her eyes and be sweet with her
