People do not understand others many times....Many times now adays people are so caught up in their own turmoil, that they withdraw and just don't care any more...however, I have found that the most loving and kind people are people who have the common bond of loving Christ Jesus and God...and they seem to love everyone, including their enemies...I am sorry no one understands you...Pray on this, and ask the Lord to open your eyes and show you what it is that is keeping you so lonely and depressed...Make an effort to make new friends,...sometimes, we don't realize it, but we push others away not meaning too...So keep your head up, and let the Lord lead you to that special person...God Bless, be happy for your good health, count your blessings, and take Care!

There is no quick solution - at this stage everything seems too much of a mountain. You will be better going to your doctor and discussing the issues, maybe even have counselling. It is often better to talk with people who don't know you, or want to judge you. I was in the same position last year, but with outside help was able to overcome it to a large extent. Christmas and new Year can be the worse times for loneliness, especially when others are enjoying themselves, but it does become easier and more positive.

On a positive note you will find that there will be someone out there who will understand. As soon as the holidays are over talk to your doctor.

Good luck.

You are not alone, believe me....more people than you know feel exactly like you do. The inportant thing to remember here is to love yourself and to be your own best friend. Your self worth shouldn't come from others but from within you. Accept yourself for who and what you are and be proud of your individuality and uniqueness. There is only 1 you and that makes you special. It's a new year and time for a new outlook. I wish you a happy and healthy new year.

I think when you feel down that things tend to get out of all prospective, especially when its Christmas or new year, but honestly your not on your own, theres probably lots of people reading your question who feel alone too,all my family are out enjoying themselves and I'm stuck in with a cold no money to go out with and nothing to wear anyway but at least I can chat on here so its not all bad,so please keep asking questions and happy new year.
