Will you go? Or will you run off to canada. Should draft dodgers be allowed to come back to the US? Remember our anthem? The land of the free, and the home of the brave?

I've already gone and would go again . Draft dodgers should be imprisoned . I hope there will never be a need for the draft however, It would cause even more discension amongst the people .
I've noticed that NONAME has once again enlightened the world to her own stupidity . Even those who hate the US military are protected by us .

If a draft is began, it quite is going to be so some distance contained sooner or later he will probable be over the age cut back. human beings seem to misconceive the comprehensive concept of in all probability reinstituting conscription. we are able to (and could, IMHO) severely develop the dimensions of the protection tension devoid of a draft, and that's what could be functional for any variety conflict we would get into every time quickly. a protection tension of conscripts does not be a thank you to develop the dimensions of the army we've; it can be a thank you to get carry of a thoroughly distinctive style of military which would be functional in a theoretical land conflict against, say, India, yet could be no sturdy against any opponent we've any genuine probability of scuffling with. the fashionable infantry soldier is amazingly lots a expert and actually can't get replaced by a draftee.

I'll go. If it actually gets SOOOO bad that they have to reinstate the draft the terrorist will probably be in Oklahoma and the front line 50 miles away from my house. I don't see that happening so I'm not to worried about a draft...unless something else major happens like North Korea invading the South or something like that...

And no. Draft dodgers should lose their citizenship.

We already have a draft. Men over the age of 18 are required to go to the Post Office and register.

I seriously doubt that we will activate the system any time in the near future. There is no political will in Washington to start another war, and the ones we're involved with now are child's play.

We have no need of large increases in personnel. What we need, really are to continue updating our technology and coming up with more comprehensive systems that limit the need for manpower on the ground.

First the draft is a bad idea, the quality of soldier is much greater in a volunteer force. 2d they would have a hard time sidestepping drafting young women and in reality the Army does not need a large influx of women but young men to fill the combat arms occupations, infantry etc.

I already served but i would go. I think that dodgers shouldn't lose their citizenship, but should have to pay a life time fine of 10% on all future earnings or something like that. That way the rich couldn't pay a small amount and not worry about it again.

Yea right, in reality many people will try and save their own skins. The words in the national anthem are meaningless to b people without a sense of what is right and the commitment to fight for it.

I served my country right out of High School. I didn't need a draft to know what the right thing to do was.
