i have a pc and multi region dvd player - if this helps?

u can buy a LG dvd-recorder and record all things you want on its memory or on dvd and edit them.u can record from tv,vsh,vcd,satellite,...
i have one, and i think its great.

I have used Pinnacle software and hardware,but the easiest solution would be to buy one of new vcr/dvd recorders on the market now,they are relatively inexpensive. I saw one at Target for less than $200.00.

you use a capture card (PCI or USB) and run a cable from your VHS to the input on your capture card

Some cheap TV cards also allow you to do this - I've done a bit of this and with cheap stuff it is usualy a chore getting the software / codecs / quality etc sorted out

i just answered ur question of d vinyl records, heh, anyway i have a tv card on my computer and i connect d video input to it and i use d software to record.
