I am an atheist, so working on a Sunday has no physical or theological consequences to me.

However, as a 'christian' I thought you believed in a day of rest? This notion is based on the Biblical account of creation when God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. For this reason, one day is set aside during the week as a day of rest and worship.

So if you follow the book, there are three versions of the Ten Commandments in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament). They are at Exodus 20:2-17, Exodus 34:12-26, and Deuteronomy 5:6-21. Exodus 20 is the most commonly used set. In the King James' Version, its text reads:

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Think about it, under your own stated beliefs, you will have one hell of a workout today, I only hope you are Catholic, and not Anglican or Baptist, as you may have the chance to confess your sin of working on the Sabbath. Shame on you!

really, is that what it takes i all along thought it was free will to want to or need to go to church to thank God for all he done for me that week ask for forgiveiness the sins i done also and get to know the the Lord better.hear his word since some are to lazy to pick up a Bible during the rest of the week . sunday the best time to do and socialize with your brothers and sisters in Christ for a few moments of time before start a new week.so i guess i've been doing it wrong all these 35 years of going to church.

Coffee after a workout? Sorry, that's not right! But you're gonna have to go for a night service here!
