White Chestnut is excellent for getting racing/repetitive/unwanted thoughts out of your head, and Crab Apple is great for wanting something out of you - whether it's an infection, some thoughts, some feelings, or disgust about your weight or appearance, stuff like that. Rescue Remedy is also excellent for panic, anxiety, shock, etc.
Obsessive thoughts were a big symptom of the depression I'm now recovering from, and I found White Chestnut to be absolutely brilliant. The thoughts were causing severe insomnia.
I'm using Crab Apple now, as I'm feeling a bit desperate to completely clear myself of the depression (trying to get the thing out of my head). And Rescue Remedy has been my best friend these past few weeks, as panic attacks have emerged as a new symptom, as well as some pretty high-level anxiety on some days.
Some people will tell you the Flower Remedies are placebos, that they're bullsh*t, etc. But I've seen them work like magic on other people, and I've had quite a bit of experience with them myself, and I know that if you choose the right remedy for the right condition, they're fantastic.
