I once compressed some files into a flash drive for backup. I have moved since then. I still have the compressed file, but I forgot the compression program that I used. Now I have a problem how to restore the compressed file. Is there a freeware that I can download to restore my files? Please help.

WinRar is one of the best compression / decompression programs out there and their site says nothing about .pkm files. PKM is generally realated to personal data management. Coders use pkm files for managing, retrieving and organizing data. OR you can open Windows Explorer and click Tools, Folder Options, File Types and choose which program will open that file if you knew which one to choose

You should always just use .zip or .rar for compression. Anyways I might have found a program that opens that type of files: Mercury Document System.
