I don't think this question has anything to do with religion. Anyway. These 5 speces of monkeys to which one must add the human being (yes !), have a common ancester. We have 98 % of our genes in common with chimpanzees, gorillas and bonobos. The bonobo spece is the closest to ours.

Yes. They have close ancestry and many similarities in their morphology and DNA. Shouldn't this be a zoology or biology question? Surely this isn't about religion, right?
