Do puppies move less when whelping begins?

Question

My female is at 57 days and she started the panting and moaning about 3 hours ago. She couldnt keep still and is wimpering every so often. I am not sure but think she is getting close. Her puppies have been very active up until now. Will their activity decrease close to labor?

Well my big dogs have had litters. But this is my baby (inside) and it is her first litter and mine.... I have not been to be yet to make sure she stays ok. Very excited and anxious. According to x-ray we are having 4. :)

Yeah, they'll be kinda still (er than b4) She's fine. Once they start coming it'll be pretty regular. Is this your first litter? :-) You are gonna love it, it's a beautiful thing!
