on a red hot summers day in the middle of a field there is nothing but a tree on which a man has hung himself, he is not tall enough to have climb the tree there is nothing around that he was able to stand on, all thats there is a puddle of water under the man, how did he manage it???????????

Y'know the problem with riddles is that there are about a million different solutions. For example, someone who is found dead in a telephone box with slit wrists and the windows are broken does NOT automatically imply that he is a fisherman who was demonstrating to a friend the size of a fish he caught! He could have been murdered etc.

It was a quick growing tree. Just add water and presto, grows three feet taller.
wait, the water was under the man? Then he must of been standing on a block of ice and it melted..
I think if I were doing it, I would go for planting a two foot tall tree and waiting for it to grow tall enough, say like in fifty years..
