Lemon juice! really! I tried it when I was 14. It SSOO works! Add sunshine or blow dryer heat; it works alittle faster. For quicker results; try "sun-in" it MIGHT have some chems but it is a WHOLE LOT!!!!!!!! safer than chemical bleaching!!! I WILL NEVER!!! DO THAT AGAIN!!! My kids, grandkids, & GREAT-grand kids will never do that!!!

The only natural way to lighten your hair is to sit in the sun. If you take a lemon and squeeze just a little on your hair brush and then brush the lemon juice on that also helps lighten your faster in the sun. It wears off quite quickly once you are out of the sun.

If you have dark auburn hair it is most best to go to a hair salon to get it lighten. But if you want to risk going for it try Sun in Hair lightener (google it) it is a bottle of natural ingredients that you spray on your hair and it lightens it up in the sun or hair dryer.

You could try a Malibu treatment at a salon - it removes chemicals and build up in your hair. The treatment makes hair brighter - maybe that would be enough for you - Starts at about $10.00 - depending on where you live.
