is having money/a career/education important before migrating to canada? just say that i dont have exactly enuff savings in my bank account but i will be able to pay mthly stuff.. is it a must to have a good job back in my country before i can live in canada? what the minimum creteria.. i really hope someone can guide me through..

Your education won't matter here. It won't be recognized. People come hear with University degrees and work minimum wage jobs. Generally speaking. I love Canada. Toronto is multicultural but can be expensive. I wouldn't rely on Yahoo Answers to guide you through. Contact your country's Embassy (Consulate) in Canada. Maybe they can help you better. Good luck.

All of the above are necessary in order to qualify under Canada's point system of immigration.
Go to the government's website www.cic.gc.ca
They explain everything there.
Just briefly, you need a certain amount of points to qualifty for immigrating (although it's true-- having education or professional experience does not guarantee work in Canada!). Higher education gets you a certain number of points, more if you have a Masters or PhD. Having many years of work experience also gives you more points.

In order to actually immigrate you also do need a certain amount of savings in the bank. I believe it's about $10,000 for a single applicant, and more if you're married or coming with your family. Good luck.
