I like to use the simplest programs. Windows Media Player isn't simple, in fact I don't think any of them are, but using the most common Players keeps it simple. Is that a simple answer? How about this...Open Media Player and under the File menu look for your options on automatically updating file info. Or just choose the option next to it that says Enter file info. Each version of media player is slightly different, and most MP3 files are slightly different. I copied a cassette to MP3 format and Media Player won't know how to automatically update that type of MP3 file but it allowed me to enter the file info myself. Another program that is helpful with MP3 files is Goldwave. It is free to try but you will have to register it legally or illegally after trying it out.

Does your Mp3 player support having this info available through the LED screen? If not, theres not really any way, only from your source where you upload to the Mp3?

Bring up the file and tweak the properties. I was doing that just a while ago, fixing the titles and adding album pics.

The domicile windows record browser has a geared up-in IDE3 tag editor. actual click on the music record, click on properties and edit the tag advice. in case you're finding for a application that immediately detects all the IDE3 information, it does not exist. you ought to do it manually.

You need a tag editor.
You might find a free one on a site like snapfiles.com or freedownloadcenter.com
